CORPORATE PODCASTS
I helped create two internal podcast series for Taiho Pharmaceuticals. rOAM was a training podcast, where I directed and produced recording sessions, cut down paper edits, and edit the final audio.
I also wrote fake sponsorship ads for each episode, and lent my silky-smooth voice for spots (for instance, one episode was sponsored by…stem cells). They were super fun to write, and allowed me to flex my copywriter prowess.
The CEO of Taiho Pharmaceuticals liked the first podcast so much he decided he wanted his own interview show, which was how I helped develop Taiho Talks (including coming up with the title of the podcast). As with the other podcast, I directed, produced, copyedited, and audio edited the episodes in a collaborative effort with the agency I was contracted out to. Each episode featured a colleague within the company, and it was truly amazing. The wildest episode? A two-parter speaking with a colleague who escaped war-torn Vietnam as a child and only to be kept locked up in France by a fake adopted family (yes, you read that right).
Unfortunately, as these were internal podcasts, they’re kept under lock and key, so reach out to coordinate how to hear a sample.
